New Client Consultation - 45 mins
What to expect at your first appointment
Comprehensive assessment: We begin with a thorough review of your medical history and current complaints, followed by a detailed movement and postural analysis. This allows us to identify the root causes of your pain or stiffness.
Targeted orthopedic and neurological testing: These exams pinpoint specific joint, nerve, and soft-tissue dysfunctions.
Hands-on treatment: You’ll receive gentle, effective manual care tailored to your needs—these may include adjustments, mobilisations, soft-tissue techniques, dry needling and movement coaching—to reduce pain, improve mobility, and reset nervous system function.
A personalised treatment plan: We will outline a realistic plan that includes immediate interventions, short-term goals, and long-term strategies to restore function and prevent recurrence. These may include self-care strategies, targeted stretching and exercise to balance your body. The goal isn’t to “fix” you, but to empower you to help yourself for long-term change.
Please note:
Bring any relevant imaging or prior reports if available.
Wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. We recommend shorts if you are experiencing a lower limb complaint and, if comfortable, that women wear a crop top or sports bra.
It takes dedicated time and effort to restore function. I work best with people who are committed to working with me; if you are looking for a quick fix then another practitioner may be a better fit.
